Founded by Benjamin Aldridge known in his field as Benjamin Stylist, career hair dresser, colourist, stylist and make up artist. Supported by a talented team of experienced professionals, with exceptional skills.
Come in, relax and take a break, while Benjamin and his staff pamper your every need. Offering hair colouring, dressing, styling, make up, non surgical beauty treatments, brows and nails.
The Colour Lounge Swansea really is a unique and luxurious hair salon, with a variety of beauty stations and semi-private treatment rooms available, upstairs.

THE OWNERS STORY
Benjamin’s creative energy, natural talent, passion and attention to detail, won him an apprenticeship at the Ten Atelier Boutique, located in the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London’s iconic West End. During that apprenticeship, Benjamin was trained by some exceptionally talented mentors. Benjamin remained at the Ten Atelier after qualifying as a hair stylist until 2016, working the floor in a busy leading West End salon.
“Working in the West End was an amazing experience, and it was a privileged to work in such an elite boutique, but I found that working in such a busy environment, didn’t always allow me to give my clients the time I felt they deserved.”
Benjamin then swapped the West End, in favour of running a small salon in Essex, where he successfully built up a large independent clientele.
Always learning, Benjamin then finished First Class by City & Guilds on Barbering Training, in London’s Covent Garden. With this experience Benjamin has been exploring the entire industry, working with world renowned photographers, as a freelancer, hairstylist and make-up artist, and so has created a distinguished portfolio. All while running a busy Essex salon.
Since then, Benjamin has moved to Wales, and opened his very own salon, in the heart of Swansea. The Colour Lounge. A pink palace of luxury offering hair and beauty, hair styling, colour, dressing, make up, brows and nails.
“When clients come to my salon, they are going on a journey. Being in a more intimate salon, I am able to spend more time with them, which allows me to really understand their vision or style. We can then continue this journey together, and I get a real sense of fulfilment from this. I want my clients to feel amazing when they leave, not only because of their newly styled hair, makeup or nails, but also because they feel understood, valued and have enjoyed their experience with me”
